Tunbridge Wells Heritage Open Days 2012 - Trinity Theatre and Arts Centre, Church Road, TN1 1JP

Trinity Theatre and Arts Centre

For over thirty years a thriving theatre and arts centre, this Grade I listed building was originally Holy Trinity Church. Designed by Decimus Burton in 1826 in Gothic style, it was the second Church of England place of worship in Tunbridge Wells and the town’s first parish church. Inside are fascinating monuments and stained glass. Visitors can enjoy an illustrated talk and guided tour led by Dr Philip Whitbourn OBE, author of “Decimus Burton Esquire, architect and gentleman“. Just turn up - no pre-booking needed.
