Tram Man

A great opportunity to visit our special Mini Museum in Paddock Wood! Ian & Susan Williams welcome you to their wonderful world of model trams, model railways, garden railway, vintage motorbikes including sidecars, pedal cycles, and many more fascinating artefacts. You can also enjoy a toy Rupert bear 'Lookalike' Teddy Bears Picnic display and much more. The collection reflects the skill and craftsmanship of a lifetime in the aircraft industry that began when Ian joined Vickers Armstrong (Aircraft) Ltd. Weybridge, as a 15 year old apprentice based at the famous Brooklands track. To add to the experience Susan has extensive knowledge of the life and times of Isambard Kingdom Brunel as well as George & Robert Stephenson. Ian and Susan are well known. They have displayed these treasures for many years in aid of charity. They regularly exhibit at model railway shows where Ian is known as the 'Tram Man'. This year they are delighted to take part in Heritage Open Days for the first time and visitors will be able to share the delights and view this special and unique collection. Some items are fragile.
