Tunbridge Wells Heritage Open Days 2012 - Goldsmid Hall, Tudeley Road, Tonbridge, TN11 0NJ

Goldsmid Hall, Tudely Road, Tonbridge

Now a village hall, Goldsmid Hall was built in the Arts and Crafts style in 1895 for the estate workers of the Goldsmid family, who lived in the nearby Somerhill. There is a large mural of a local scene in the Victorian era at one end of the hall. A 21st century addition is the stained glass window designed by Rolf Harris in the style of the Marc Chagall windows - in neighbouring Tudeley Church - which featured in the BBC TV programme "Rolf on Art" in 2003.
