Tunbridge Wells Heritage Open Days 2009 - All Saints' Church, Five Oak Green Road, Tudeley, TN11 0NZ

Tudeley Memorial Window

This small twelfth century Grade I listed church – with eighteenth and twentieth century restorations – is the only church in the world to have twelve Marc Chagall windows. The stunning designs and colours draw visitors form many countries. The windows were commissioned by the D’Avigdor Goldsmids of nearby Somerhill in memory of their daughter Sarah. The former family home is also open for Heritage Open Days on Sunday afternoon.

A section of the Tunbridge Wells circular walk links Tudeley Church and Somerhill. From the church entrance turn left, follow the road with care for a few hundred yards, then take a signposted path on the right leading through the historic estate.
