Tunbridge Wells Heritage Open Days 2009 - Spa Valley Railway, West Station, Nevill Terrace, TN2 5QY

Spa Valley Railway, West Station

This heritage steam railway line runs from Tunbridge Wells to Groombridge - and very soon to Eridge. In the nineteenth century it was the end of the line from London via Croydon, Oxted and Groombridge to Tunbridge Wells and provided connections to Lewes and Brighton. Platform tickets are free of charge to Heritage Open Days visitors, with the chance to visit the museum and look round the Victorian engine sheds at Tunbridge Wells where rolling stock is undergoing restoration.

50% discount on train travel is available using the voucher on the Heritage Open Days 2009 programmes
